Max Getaway: About Us

We love to ski and grabbed this condo because it is the perfect skiers, snow boarders, hikers, out doors man, resters and relaxers. The Goldener buildings are simply the best mountain homes you could imagine. Very nicely furnished and with views out and up the mountain. Full kitchen, full bath and we have a nice bedroom that sleeps four. IT is fully furnished, good and clean, just awaiting your arrival.

You can come in the winter of course when the snow is big and the skiing is world class. Not every run at Snoqualmie Summit is as big and fun as Alpental. It is pretty much the big daddy of them all in these parts. But there are also good hills to learn on. Fun for everyone.

Perhaps the best part of winter is the Goldener outdoor pool. Kept at toasty high temperature to sooth all those muscles after a day of heavy skiing. To sit outdoors in the hot pool with snow falling causes us to smile without end.

You should also know that spring, summer and fall are all glorious up here. The humming bird population explodes as soon as the snow starts to melt and we see deer and the occasion bear as well. Birds are everywhere.

In summer the weather warms and is for comfortable but not too hot. If you hate heat and humidity elsewhere up here you'll be comfortable as you hike the paths up to and around the Cascade Crest trail system.

In autumn the trees turn those bright shades of red and orange and yellow that would make the Northeast United states - famous for fall colors, feel insignificant. Above the Goldener the colors are a sight to behold.
